Just found out we will have to great pleasure of going to Ireland next summer!!! Can't wait! Would LOVE to find relatives still in CO Mayo. My GGG William Roche and Anne McAndrews Roche came over to Baltimore, USA around 1851. I have found Baptism records for two of their children in Backs Parish, PLU Ballina, civil parish Ballinahaglish.
I have no idea if they left brothers/sisters/cousins behind but I would sure love to find family!

Hi Kate,
If you search on www.eircomphonebook.ie/ for Roach / Roche County Mayo you'll find some addresses you could write to.
You could also check on Griffiths Valuation on www.askaboutireland.ie and the Irish Censuses of 1901 and 1911 www.censusnationalarchives.ie to find where the Roches ? Roaches were in those years.
These sites are free to search.
