I am looking for information on the John Murray family. John had a son named Henry L Murray b. abt 1837 in the Ballina area. Extensive record searches for the family have been unsuccessful to date. Henry L Murray moved to York England and married Catherine Rowan there in 1866. Catherine Rowan was from the Ballycastle area of Co. Mayo. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you for your replies to this Murray post and the Rowan post. I did find multiple Anthony Ruane and one John Murray Griffiths listings. I've attached a copy of the Griffiths pages for Kilmoremoy and the list of Anthony Ruane listings which I have not fully explored. At this point, other than clear references/records to both living in the Ballina area I don't if these are related to my family or not.
