Patrick mcgrail married Mary maiden name unknown in approximately 1870 possibly in Westport. They had six surving children that I am aware of born between 1870 / 1882 in Westport. By the 1891 census in England they were livng in Haslingden Lancashire.If I Could acquire Patrick and Marys marriage certificate it would possibly state her maiden name. One possiblity I think is she could be called Mary Mgreal, hence my difficulty in finding the right Mary. There childrens names are Michael, Mary, Anne, Thomas, Bridget, Ellen.Any information would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Elaine,
rootsireland.ie has a marriage record of Patrick McGreal & Mary in 1858; parish is Oughaval R C.
It is a pay site so you would need to pay in order to get Mary's maiden name.The parish the marriage took place in is Oughaval R C.
I searched rootsireland for McGreal births/baptisms 1870 + - 12 years father Patrick mother Mary for the children's names you gave and got all but Ellen.

Thank you Colcaff I do not think it is my Patrick and Mary as Mary was born approx 1847 and patrick 1831. Patrick could possibly have been married before. I am quite sure Patrick was Mcgrail I have found the childrens names both in Ireland and England as Mcgrails .But on the search it does not give marys name. Thankyou once again I will continue the search.
