My Gt Grandparents Michael Reilly and Rose Reilly were married at Westport on 15 June 1873. They shared the same surname, that's not a mistake. Michael was from Tuam, Galway. Rose, by family stories, was from Westport, and her father was Bartholomew Reilly, listed as a tinsmith. Is this a polite way of saying he was a Tinker?

I would be grateful for any earlier information about Rose and Bartholomew as I have been able to find no record of them.

TIA

Tony
