I am researching my ancestor, Thomas Murray, b. 1835 Navan, to Christopher Murray and Jane Dinnen.  Cannot find Thomas's baptism record online.  In the 1821 census, Christopher Murray and Jane are living in Donaghmore, Blackcastle, Navan. Thomas and many of his siblings emmigrated to Oswego, NY in the 1850s.  Most were shoemakers. Any info on these families will be greatly appreciated!

I looked at the 1821 census record and then searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and saw the baptismal records for the older two daughters of Christopher Murray and Jane Dinnen/Dinnon (Mary 1810 and Catherine 1812). The records for the three sons (Lawrence, Michael and Martin) did not come up.

Can you confirm that Thomas was born in 1835? Is it possible his parents names were different than Christopher and Jane?

By the way, there were no Thomas Murray baptismal records in the 1830s on Roots Ireland. Likely they were in a different parish.
