Great-great grandfather Mathias Flanagan
Emigrated to US in 1850s
Death certificate said he was from Tullamore
His wife, Anne Gleason Russell was from Cullenwaine.
He came with some brothers.
Settled in New Harmony IN and then moved to Chicago IL
Any help appreciated.

When I was in Ireland in 2008, I briefly spoke to a woman named Annie in Tullamore, but didn't have time to do my own searching. She said records missing for his estimated birth year, but thought I could go from parish to parish to find more information.
I look forward to what you will find. We have lots of information about his wife, though, so it seems odd that we have none about him.
