As you saw from the 1901 census record, William was a herd and caretaker and he and Bridget were both born in Co. Tipperary. William and his family were not in Curralanty in 1911. I did find this family in the 1911 census and if it is the correct family then William died between 1901 and 1911.

I did locate the civil marriage index record on Find My Past. The marriage was in the Roscrea registration district which actually covers a number of parishes in Tipperary and Offaly so I can't tell which county the marriage occurred and therefore I can't pinpoint the RC parish. The RC parish for Kilmurryely parish would be Shinrone. 

Your next step would be to get a copy of the civil marriage record which would tell you the names of the fathers of the bride and groom and where the bride and groom were living in 1879. You get copies of the record from the General Register Office for around 4 euros. I can provide instructions if you want to get a copy.

Yes you are correct. Bridget did move to Busherstown between 1901 and 1911. I don’t know if William moved as well, or it was because of his death, they had to move. It will be nice to find out. Presumably I can get Williams death certificate as well from the General Register Office?

On the 1901 census it mentions a House Number 9. Is it possible to trace exactly where this is?

I just responded to your other message about an hour ago.

Tog et a copy of the record go to this link https://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/Apply-for-Certificates.aspx  print out the marriage form and fill it out to the best of your ability but make sure you check the Copy only box. A copy costs around 4 euros but a cert is around 20 euros. Include the index info on the form: quarter/year of marriage, registration district and volume and page number. You have to mail the request to the GRO (address provided when you print the form) but you can have GRO e-mail the copy back to you. I use a credit card number and have had no issues.

Below is the likely civil death index record for William. Same process to get a copy of this record except you use the death form.
