This name gets spelled all sorts of ways, but kinirons  is the way it is spelt nowadays. I am looking for any of my ancestors who lived in Ballydonagh or Shinrone, any information on them or their gravestones; Richard b 1818/1819 died 1881, death recorded as  being in Shinrone. I found gravestones in St Cronan's in Roscrea but this Richard isnt there (another Richard mentioned below is buried there). I would be most grateful for any information on Richard or his wife Anne Tierney.

I am trying to see where this Richard fits in, as there was another Richard (1805-65) in the Nenagh area, possibly a brother of Thomas (Roscrea), and buried in the adjoining grave in St Cronan's . This Richard married a Tierney also, Kate.Lots of mystery here !

  • hi

I am searching for my ancestor Timothy reddin(en,an,etc)diffrent varations of spelling as was who could

write at time who wrote surname.

I am wondering if there is any records of baptisms/marraiges i parish there,as my ancestor left Tipp and

lived in Dublin, yet cant find find his burial or his marraige details anywhere there,

He is found to have a child in dec 1834 so he was roughly born early 1800,s no exact dates.

I have found redins in shinrone a tim in particular in tithes, and also cappawhite, and lorrha, there were very few tims however so am hoping i get lucky, dont know his parents names as cant get back that far......

hoping the parish records could get me a bit further,,,,....his first male child was called william

so if goin by tradition of naming after parents etc,,could be a lead....had a daughter Honora too,,,

any help or info on access to parish, would be great
