I'm researching my husband's family from Moneen, Williamstown, Galway. I was told it is in the Ballynakill parish. Michael Kelly and Bridget Caulfield were married and had 7 children, Maria, James, Michael, Pat, John, Martin and Bridget. Maria, Bridget and James all moved to the US and the others remained in Ireland. I'm looking for the burial location of the mother, Bridget Caulfield Kelly. She was born in 1864, her parents were Pat Caulfield and Bridget Cunningham. I'm also interested in finding Martin's life information including if he married, when he died and burial information. He was born in 1903. I have a picture of him. My mother in law is visiting Galway next year and I would love to connect her with her cousins. Thank you!

    The family actually lived in Templetogher parish which is to the northwest of Ballinakill (Ballymoe barony) parish. Here are the 1901 and 1911 census records.

    The family likely attended the Catholic church in Williamstown. Their contact is on this link-the 6th parish listed. I tried to access their web site but it did not come up.

    I tried to look for the civil death index record for Bridget which would have been registered in the Glenamaddy registration district. However, there were too many Bridget Kellys in the district with similar years of birth which prevented me from finding the likely death index record.

    I don't know if Martin married and if he married within the Glenamaddy registration district. The most likely record in Glenamaddy would have been an 1933 marriage. There was also a 1942 marriage.
