I am searching for information about my great grandfather who was born in Kiltoom in 1838. John Murray left Ireland as a young man and came to America. He worked on the railroad and eventually settled in Michigan. He was joined at some point by his sister and his brother. I do not know if he had other siblings. I would be curious to find any information about his family.

James Brennan B.@ 1810 married Bridget or Mary Higgins. They llived in Roscommon and had at least 3 daughters.
Margaret b. @ 1835 married Dennis McDonnell in Kiltoom 1859-60
Mary, married Jame Barry, probalby in NYC
Bridget, b. 1847, later called Theresa, married Patrick Mathews from louth, probably in Wahington D.C. or NYC @ 1870
There was either a son, John Brennan, or a cousin that also came to NYC. he was married To Celia, silene, Sarah Cronin. They had 3 children b. NYC 1867-1872
