I am trying to find out more about my relative Daniel Keeffe, whose daughter, Mary Keeffe, married my grandfather in America. I have determined he is from Slevinagee.

Thought I'd save Roger a bit of work here.
You don't mention an approximate birth year for Daniel but this is the only Sleveen record for him on www.rootsireland.ie/

Hi All,
That was Daniel Keeffe's son. He was born in 1876. He is Daniel J. I am wondering if Daniel Keeffe and Catherine White had other children as follows: Martin Francis, Mary and Dehlia. If they have children by these names, then the Surname was changed to O'Keefe once they came to America. All of them were married and had children here in the States. Mary Keeffe (O'Keefe) was my great grandmother.
Can you tell me about "Slaveen" parish? What does that mean?
Thank you for the quick response!!
Best,
Patty
