Lenahan - Hogan

Looking form further information on John Lenahan, b 1816 or 1818.

We have the following:

John Lenahan was born in County Roscommon, Ireland in 1818 or 1816 (not sure of this date). He left
Ireland on May 25, 1839 and arrived in Quebec, Canada on July 1, 1839. He arrived in Hamilton,
Butler County, Ohio on August 18, 1839. He lived in Butler County for five years before being
naturalized October 9, 1847.

According to the 1860 Ohio census, John was 44 yrs old and a laborer. An article provided by
my Uncle Jim entitled "Indiana" page 165 said that John and Mary had (9) nine children but the
1860 Ohio census indicated only (6) six. Maybe more children later.

Mary Hogan. She was born 1824 in Ireland. She died on 28 Dec 1863.
John Lenahan and Mary Hogan. They were married on 17 Aug 1846 in St. Stephens Church,
Hamilton, Ohio. They had 7 children.
