Did Thomas and Mary Anne marry in Ireland or the States? Did Bernard and Bridget remain in Ireland? Are you aware of any siblings to Thomas?

Thanks for ur reply. I think Mary Ann Dunne" married  Thomas about 1882 not sure what country. Believe Bernard married Bridgett Dolan about 1856-57 in Ireland later moved to US.

Do you have access to Ancestry.com?  I went on and found a death index record for Thomas. It indicates that he was born 7/2/1859 in Illinois. He died on August 26, 1938 in Joliet. He is buried in St. Patricks cemetery in Joliet. Father's name Bernard Dillon. Mother's name Bridget Dolan. Spouse's Name Mary H. Dunn. (The H may be incorrect).

The 1920 census showed that Thomas and his wife Mary A. lived on Comstock St. in Joliet. Thomas and Mary A. were both born in Illinois. Thomas was a contractor. Three children were living in the household: Ambrose  32 a widower, Florence 17, and Theodore 15. Also in the household was Thomas A. 3 a grandson and likely the child of Ambrose.

The 1910 census showed three other children Zita 19, Raymond 17 and Annie 10.

Hopefully this link from Find a Grave.com opens properly. There is a Bernard Dillon buried in Mount Olivet cemetery in Joliet. he died 9/11/1897. His wife Bridget died July 6, 1909.

I found the 1880 census record. Bernard was listed as Barney Dillon 50 born in Ireland (no other location shown), Barney was a farmer. Bridget was 40 and born in Ireland. They had nine children living with them:

John 22, Thomas 21, Mary 18, James 17, Katy 14, Patrick 12, Maggey 10, Willey 6 and Winney 4.
