Matthew McKeon/McEwan (plus numerous other variations of the name), married Mary Welsh/Walsh in Scotland in April 1846.
According to the 1851 Scottish census Matthew was born 1800, Mary in 1817.
Matthew’s parents were Bartholomew McKeon and Bridget Mulhern.
I don’t know the parish they hailed from but all came from County Roscommon.
Mary Welsh's parents were Michael Welsh, a cooper, and Mary O'Brien.
Thanks,
Jim

Jim:
I looked at the 1833-1834 Tithe Applotment listings for Co. Roscommon. I located 2 Bartholomew McKeon records both in Kilronan parish. See links below. You can also look at the site for Welsh records. Since they were married in Scotland, I didn't know if Mary was from Rsocommon.
