Both were born in Roscommon, Patrick to John Morris & Margaret ?, Frances/Fannie to Terence Gannon & ?. They married July 10 1829 in St. Joseph RC church. They had 6 children in Roscommon then in about 1846 moved to Huddersfield York Englandwhere he worked as a stone mason and had one more children. The family separately immigrated to the US through NYC and settled in Boston MA. I'm seeking information of their family in Roscommon and also contact with any of their descendants.

I located baptismal records on Roots Ireland for five children: Patrick 1825 James 1829 Brigid 1834 John 1836 Margaret 1836
I checked the Tithe listings for John Morris and there was an 1826 record for a John Morris in Tully townland in Kilbride civil patish. You may also want to consider autosomal DNA testing. Possibly you will match someone with Morris connections who has more info on the family.

Thanks so much for that information. I have had my DNA tested but haven't located any matches to the Morris family yet but I'm still hoping!
