I am searching for a Peter Joseph Greene who was supposedly born around 1866 in Roscommon. He came to America around 1890-1895, and married Jane Anastasia Rock. I have found plenty of records of him in America, but nothing from Ireland.

     I went to www.familysearch.org and looked for 1866 Peter Green baptismal/birth records. There were only two records in Ireland, one in Dublin and the other in Athlone. Athlone is now in Co. Westmeath but in 1866 part of the town was in Co. Roscommon. See link below for background.

    I don't know if the two records below are for your Peter Green or not but I thought I would share the information. the first record is the baptismal index record and the second record is the civil birth index record.
