researching ancestors Peter DONLON and Bridget FANNON

Good day all,

I am currently researching my ancestry and could really use some local expertise.  Here is what I have thus far on the Ireland side...

Peter DONLON born 14 OCT 1844 - his US death certificate states he was born in Roscommon.

Also on his death certificate - his mother's name looks like Mary DEVINE or DEVON and his father was also a PETER.  To my knowledge, they (parents) did NOT immigrate.

it looks like he arrived to NYC approximately 1863 and soon thereafter, fought in the US Civil War.

He married Bridget FANNON (allegedly, also from Roscommon...dad Patrick) in New Jersey on 29 NOV 1866.  It is unknown whether or not they knew one another in Ireland.

They moved to Antioch California and raised their family.
