I too am seeking Roscommon information, although considerably earlier than your search.  Have you gonj to the Leitrim-Roscommon website.  they have Griffith's as well as the 1901 census--and a host of other information.

I am looking for Thomas Neary who emigrated to Baltimore, Maryland USA in 185, born c. May 1 1833 (tombstone and death certificate).
