I am looking for family members of Thomas Scanlan born abt 1838 and moved to Chicago, Ill. with his wife Catherine McDermott she was born abt the same time as Thomas. The name of the town we have is Gemanon, however we think that is a misspelling and could be Dumanon. My Mother, Sisters and I are planning a trip to Ireland in June 2013 to trace our roots and would like to meet family.

You can try posting as much information as you can regarding your relatives. Remember, the more information that you post, the more likely it is that one of our volunteers will be able to assist you.
Include information concerning emmigration, births/marriages/desaths etc....
