Searching ancestor

Klyne is quite an unusual name for Ireland. I used the Irish Times surname database to  see if there were any recordings of the name in mid-19th century Ireland, however there were none. There were some however with the spelling Clyne:

As you can see from the above link there were none in Sligo. In order to see more closely who this Clynes were, you can look at Griffith?s Valuation which will narrow down the info to parish:

The earlier land record called the Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38) records even less, and again none in Sligo:

There are two Castlegal townlands in CO. Sligo:

You could try looking in both of these parishes? church records to see if you can find more info. Most Catholic records are held locally so you may need to write to the local parish priest for possible assistance.
