Is anyone related to my ancestor Ellen DALTON born approx.1812 in Borrisokane. When she remarried in Australia she said she was the daughter of John DALTON and Elisabeth LAWLER.
Ellen DALTON married first William WHELAN in 1836 in Borrisokane and had six children. At least two of her children - John b. 1840 and Mary b. 1846 - emigrated with her to Australia, probably after the death of William WHELAN in 1849.
Are there any other descendants of John DALTON and Elisabeth LAWLER out there?
