I would like to find information of my Ancestors MICHAEL DOLAN b.c1820 where born I don't know he married BRIDGET MAGAURAN in 1850 in the Parish of Outeragh Roman Catholic C.Leitrim.   They had the following children who I believe are theirs. BRIDGET b. abt June 1857 Tullynaconspod, JAMES b 1859.Ballinamore, ELEANOR b. 1860 Tullywaum. MICHAEL b. 1862 bapt Outeragh, R C, MARY 1864 bapt Aughlin, Ballinamore, ALICE b.c 1865. (cannot find info of her)  MARGARET  (Maggie) b 1866 bapt Drumbibe, PATRICK 1869 Aughlin, JOHN b.1870 bapt Drumbibe, HUGH b.1871 bapt Derrynawan. ANNE. b.1874 bapt.  Drumreilly  (not sure if this one of the family)                 Bridget, James, Eleanor, Alice moved to Australia and died there. Mary may have gone to Australia then returned to Ireland. I would like to find decendants of those that remained in Ireland.

    Unfortunately, records for the RC church in Oughteragh start in 1869 and on the online NLI site end in 1881. Here is the link to the register on the NLI site. http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0816

    I'm curious where you obtained the information on the marriage and the baptismal records?

    It apeears the family moved around or you have miore than one Michael Dolan family. Dolan was a very common name in Oughterard parish in the 1901 census. There were 26 Dolan households in the parish.     Note the one with John age 30 which corresponds to the 1870 John above. He has an aunt named Mary McGovern living with him. I'm pretty confident that she is the sister of Bridget Magauran mentioned above. Check out the 1911 census also.
