I am the son of Mary, who was their oldest child born in 1903. Mary's sister Bridget (Aunt Bridie) used to send us shamrock etc over to Aberdeen my birthplace. I visited Roscrea in my teens and remember meeting uncle Kevin and uncle Jo. When I was younger my grandmother Kate used to visit us in Aberdeen. I think my mother's other brothers served in the army during WW2. I am heading to Scotland later this year and visiting Eire the week of the 17 August 2014 and would like to meet any relatives who might be in the area.

Anyone can contact me at: sandy@telequartz.co.nz, or write me at 101 Patterson Terrace, Halswell, Christchurch, New Zealand.

I have lived in NZ since 1960 and have wanted to renew the contacts with my Irish routes. Now that the chance has arisen, I hope someone can help me.

Kind regards,

Sandy Cardno
