Hello Wicklow
Can anybody tell me the names of Michael Dwyer's (Wicklow Chiief) siblings. I can't find any mention of the names of his siblings just that he was the eldest son of 7 children.
My ancestor John Dwyer was said to be his brother.
John was married to Mary Ryan and they lived in Thurles.
I am aware of 4 children Bridget, Michael b.1803 married Ellen McCarthy, Patrick b.1819 and Mary b.abt 1821. There may have been others.

No Clare I have not been able to find names of Michael Dwyer's (Wicklow Chief) siblings. None of the literature mentions his sibling's names. My John Dwyer was born in 1763 and Michael Dwyer was born in 1772 as the eldest child and in that case John would not have been his brother or uncle (because Michael,s father was John) but possibly a cousin.
