I'm trying to verify information on my great-grandmother Johanna Egan. She was born in 1877 in County Tipperary and married Michael Crowe. They moved to Clare Street in Limerick by the 1911 census.
Research led me to believe she may have been born on 7th July, 1877 in Thurles. Her parents would have been Patrick Egan and Margaret Delany.
My grandfather was born in 1901 - so I assume she would have married before then.
Does anyone know anything about her or her husband?

Civil registration began in Ireland in 1864, so you should be able to find both Johanna?s birth and marriage records in these records. Civil records are available from the General Register?s Office in Dublin. Here is their website:
