Hi
I am looking for any details regarding my great great grandparents, Daniel O'Brien, born c1835 (not sure on this date), Thurles, Tipperary, and he married Mary Piggot b c1939 born in Limerick. They had a son Michael James O'Brien born c1862. They moved to Australia after James was born but before 1865. Any details on their birth, marriage, transport to Australia etc is needed.
Daniel's parents were Michael O'Brien and Joanna Kenny.

As you probably kknow, some public member trees on ancestry.com have Michael born 1822 in Tipperary & Joanna 1822 in ?
I searched www.rootsireland.ie/ for Joanna Kenny born 1822 and got no matches. For 1822 + - 2 years there were 2 matches: 1818 in Waterford & 1820 in Cork.
The ancestry trees also have: the marriage of Daniel & Mary as 4 Feb 1861 in Thurles Limerick.
Daniel's birth as 1835 Thurles Tipperary & Mary's as 1839 Limerick. You could check thses on rootsireland as there are no sources supplied with the information.
their 8 children - the first, Michael James was born in Doon, Limerick Ireland in and the next in Warwick Qld in 1865 so they must have arrived in / between 1862 & 1865.
Unfortunately none of the trees has details of their arrival in Australia.
I searched NSW,Qld & Victoria passenger lists but couldn't find their arrival.
