Phillip (1802 - 1880) and Mary (1807 - 1877) arrived in the USA Dec 28 1848.  They had their 7 children with them.  We are unable to find any information prior to 1848, so we know nothing of the Irish roots.  Family history says Mary (maiden name Dwyer or O'Dwyer) married James Gleeson (1805? - 1830?) 1st; on his death in she married Phillip in 1831 (maybe 2 Feb).  Would like any history available, but especially their parents names and dates of birth/death.

www.rootsireland.ie has Baptism & Marriage records for Tipperary .

  • Hi!  I am also from this line!  Michael was my 2x great-grandfather.  I am also interested in finding out more information about family from this line, especially siblings and parents of Philip and Mary.  If DNA is correct, some of them went to Australia, which I know nothing of that side.

    Best regards,

    Sandra
