The name combibation Michael Horan is very common in Ireland and impossible to find the correct Michael that you are looking for at this stage.

Did you try to get a death certificate in England for Michael, as his wife was there he more then likely was too. We need a year of birth at least to find them back in Ireland.

Also you say ''Robert, Mary and their mother can be found in Preston, Lancashire'', what was their mothers first name?

Robert c1858 and Mary c1863 both state on the English census in 1901 that they were born in Ireland I dont know where but up until now I cant find them. Their mothers christian name I dont know it was a newspaper article in 1885 that stated Mary & her mother were living with Robert and Catherine in Preston Lancashire. On Roberts marriage certificate he states his father is deceased that was 1881, his mother & sister were not living with him then, only this mention in the paper 1885, I assumed his mother could have come over after his father Michael had passed away. I dont know where to go fom here.
