My grandmother was Mary Anne Keane. She was born to Patrich and Mary Guiry Keane on May 4, 1867 in Tipperary City. She was christened there that year. The Mormon geneology center refers to a parish 793. I am not sure if that is right or some bureaucratic number. I would appreciate help in locating her home parish. Thanks.

I believe 793 is a page number for film 101147 in the Mormon Family History Library. The Mormons filmed the actual civil birth records for the years 1864 (when civil registreation started) thru 1870. Beyond 1870, they only have index records and you have to take the index data and write to the General Register Office for a copy of the record. Film 101147 has birth records for a part of 1867 including your great grandmother.
It appears your great grandmother was baptized in Tipperary Town. Therefore, based on the link below, she was likely baptized in St. Michael's RC church (assuming the family was RC).
