William Myers, Farmer  born c 1808, died in 1892 in the Workhouse in Tipperary.

By that time his daughter had died, his sons - James and William - reputedly gone to America and his grandchildren dispersed.

His daughter Johanna married Thomas Bruton/Barton/Burton in  1861 and died in 1873. Thomas died in 1877. The couple had 6 children; Mary/Mollie went to the States, Margaret went to Australia, William was with the Munster Fusiliers in India and last heard of in 1899. I believe he might have survived as I can find him in the list of Chelsea Pensioners.

My sister and I will be visiting around June 9 2016  – Bohercrowe, Church Street, Station Road – Workhouse, St. Mary’s graveyards, St. Anne’s School and would love to meet up with any possible descendants of this family.
