    Good day Clare Doyle:)

I'm hoping you can help me find the parish, places my Tobin family came from in Ireland. I'm told my gggrandfather Michael came over form Ireland from Cork as a boy.

All I know is that Michael Tobin had at least one son James Buchanan Tobin born in 1862.

Most of the Tobins settled in southern Ireland which contains so many Tobin references!

I'm stumped! I 'm told but have no official record that Michael's wife was a Mary Ellen Callahan)SP?) probably married in New York city area.

I also have Kellys and Donohoes/Donghues but can't find their locations or parishes either.

I do know that Michael Kelly and Mary(Maria) Donohoe had at least 2 daughters Sarah, and Catherine( or Kate). Sarah was born about 1864 and Catherine ca 1866,but again I've not been able to pinpoint Birth or marriage info.

    Appreciate your advice:) Thanks.
