My 4th gt grandfather Owen Rafferty ? was born in Tyrone ? in 1815 and left Ireland for England with his wife Bridget Diamond around 1837?
If you have any information I would be thrilled as I have hit a dead end. Hope to hear from someone, fingers crossed

Have you tried looking for information on Owen in Church records?
Most Catholic records are held locally. One website which may be of help to you is the Irish times website. Here they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. For Aghaloo parish follow this link:
As you can see from that page records in the parish do not begin until c. 1826. It may also be worth your while to check what records are available in neighbouring parishes. To see what parishes are around Aghaloo follow this link. To see what records are available click on the parish name:

You could also do a search in the the Tithe Applotment Books. These are land records compiled between 1823 and 1837 in order to determine the amount which occupiers of agricultural holdings should pay in tithes to the Church of Ireland. You can search these here:
