McKenna's and McGrath's

Do you have any information on James McKenna's year of birth and when he died?

Unfortunately no. The only family records we have are about his son Francis who married Catherine McGrath and on to myself. The marriage records indicate James wife was Mary Curran.

Was Francis born in Ireland and what year? Did he marry Catherine in Ireland?

I spoke with a relative of mine and he tells me that Francis McKenna actually married a Mary Ann Gaittens whereas Catherine whose maiden name was Mullin married Patrick McGrath. He also said that on Francis marriage record it shows his father James as a land stewart. I searched the Griffith Valuation Lists and found 2 James McKenna's in Clonfeacle. The first showed the townland of Angasna Glebe and the second the townland of  Drumgose. Are you related to either the McKenna's or the McGrath's?
