James HANNAH was born in Dromorre Ireland in about 1822. He enlisted in the 65th [2nd Yorkshire North Riding Regiment] "The Royal Tigers" in 1839 and discharged in New Zealand in 1849.
It is unclear if Dromore was County Tyrone or Down. We know nothing about his forebears.
