Hello all!  I'm looking for information on my g-g-g-g grandfather and grandmother, James Mullen and Mary Travers, who resided in Clady, Urney Parish.  Mary died in 1839 and James in 1842.  I'm descended from their son Robert Mullen (1805 - 1859), who emigrated to the U.S.  Are there Mullens or Travers still living in Clady?  Any information would be very much appreciated!

    I couldn't find any Mullen or Travers listings in Tyrone in the Irish phone book.

    Looks like Robert might have been born in Westmeath; record from www.rootsireland.ie/:

                    I have been doing Mullen family tree for some years now.

    I doubt that its the same connection as your Mullens ,but you never know  !!

    There is a Robert Mullen in U.S.A who has extenesive reserch done 

    ,after a long time we did establish a link .We`re like 8 th cousions !

    I can send you more  informatation if you think it might help .

    There are many Mullens in Co TYRONE, CO.DERRY Its just sorting out 

    who is who .
