Looking for any information on the Dunne family from, I believe, Milltown in Westmeath.
Patrick Dunne b. c 1800. Parents (according to death cert.) Michael Dunne & unknown. Michael was said to be in the militia or navy.
Patrick married Margaret Shaughness (father Michael Shaughness) 1836 Ballymore westmeath.
They had 4 known children, Thomas b.1838, Mary, born 1839, John b. 1842 & Rose b. 1845.
John married Margaret McAuly 1866 in Ballymore.
The family came to Melbourne Australia around 1867-69.

There are 2 baptism/birth records of Patrick Dunne 1800 + - 2 years on www.rootsireland.ie/; the father is not Michael & the parish not Milltown however.
The marriage record of Patrick & Margaret is also there; it may have the parents' names with which to search for siblings on rootsireland.ie
