I am attempting to locate the parents of Jane Scahill, born about 1823 and Marcella Scahill born about 1827, who emigrated to Australia as assisted imigrants aboard the SS Lismoyne in 1849.

I have not been able to find any records of their births on - line.

 

Can anyone assist please?

    There is a record of the baptism of Jane Scahile 1823 Westmeath on www.rootsireland.ie/

    Marcella Scahill is also there - 1826 Westmeath

    rootsireland charges to view the records but they will have the parish and MAYBE the parents' names.
