You are correct about differentiating between the two types of parishes. Killucan civil parish is located in the Catholic parish of Kinnegad. There are 63 civil parishes and only about half this number of Catholic parishes in Co. Westmeath.

Did you check the 1901/1911 census to gain some idea of the number of those families living in the area at that time? You can check for this here: http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/

The father's name was James Bruton and they were in the Coralstown area in the townland of Hightown/Balloughter.
