    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

Have you had a look at rootsireland.ie (a subscription site) to see if there are any records about the family? Civil registration in 1864 meant that all denominations were legally bound to register birth, death and marriage events so if your family members were born before that time there will not be a civil record recording the event (except for non RC marriages which were registered in 1845). Prior to 1864 then you will be dependent on parish records.

If you don't have a rootsireland subscription then either Find My Past or Ancestry.com will provide the same info via respective index

Civil records (1864 and after) can bee seen for free at irishgenealogy.ie

Best wishes for a happy 2017
