  • Thankyou

I have this from rootsirland That is how I found about Bernard being the name of John's father. Perhaps it was a realtive insted though

John was born in 26 May 1846 in Longford according to records. my grandfather David  (John's son) did live in Street Westmeath just before the emigrated to Canada. I have pictures of the farm that John was a herder but I do not know who the landlord was

Any Bernard that I have found was R.C. and does not match

    Thanks again for your help

  • Interested in info re Susan Harris.  My great-great grandmother was Anne Harris, b.c. 1820, married to carpenter William Coleston/Colston/Colson.  Records found for them in Street, Longford, and Streete, Westmeath.  Left Ireland for the US in 1851 with 5 children and a relative, Catherine Colston.  Any connection?  Could Susan and Anne Harris be related?  ThX!  Barbara Ann Porceddu, Brooklyn, NY
