I am hoping to locate information regarding my grandfather John Patrick O'Gorman.  There is a record of a John O'Gorman who died in or close to Enniscorthy in 1943.  Could someone check the parish records regarding his death?  My John's parents were Patrick and Margaret O'Gorman.

    Hello again. We do not have a parish liaison in Enniscorthy. Also, the church records would not show the names of parents for a death record.

    You could get a copy of this record from the General Register Office for around 4 euros. The record would show the date of death, place of death, cause of death and the name of the informant and possibly the relationship of the informant to the deceased.

    I can provide instructions for getting a copy of the record if you are interested.
