I'm trying to determine if the children of James Leahy and Elizabeth Ann Langford were born in Templeshanbo or elsewhere. The eldest was born about 1830, the last on 29 Oct 1852. Twelve children in all. Except for a child who died in 1843, none apparently stayed in the area. Does anyone have access to parish records? I believe they would have been Church of Ireland. Hello Julia,
I origainally came from this area. Templeshanbo is in the barony of Scarawalsh. It is a much smaller place than it would have been back in your ancestors time.
Here is the graveyard record for Templeshanbo graveyard, there are no Leahys buried here but there are Learys? http://www.from-ireland.net/templeshanbo-graveyard-records-wexford.
