My Grandmother, Mary Katherine Healy, left Castlerae, Ireland in 1895 and came to America. Her father was John J Healy and her mother was Annie (Cullen or Culligan) Healy. She had 4 brothers, Patrick (who moved to Manchester, England), John, James and Michael.
She landed at Ellis Island, but I can't find her on their website. I don't know where she left from or what boat she took.
I would like any information anyone has on the Healy's.
Thanks.

Hi,
Thank you for your message.
Have you searching for the family in the 1901/1911 census records? These can sometimes offer lots of useful information and can be searched online here:
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/
You can also use Church records for information. Most Catholic records are held locally, one website which may be helpful is the Irish Times where they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. For Kilkeevin parish follow this link:
For Church of Ireland records check http://ireland.anglican.org/about/42 and http://www.nationalarchives.ie/. The Anglican Record Project is has created an index to their records: http://ireland.anglican.org/cmsfiles/pdf/AboutUs/library/AngRecord/bunclodyunionindex.pdf
Family Search also has some records online, you can search these here:
Civil Registration began in Ireland in 1864, so you can also use these records which are available from the General Register?s Office in Dublin. Here is their website:
Family Search also has the indexes online here: https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1408347

I am researching information on my ancestors who are from Kilkeevin Parish, Ballindrumlea Township, Castlereagh, Roscommon, and would appreciate whatever assistance you can provide. The 1911 Census shows Patrick Kennedy (born Abt 1841, died Abt 1917) and Sabina (Mulloy) Kennedy (born 1847, died 1923) and were married in 1867, living with 2 children Ellen and Patrick. How can I find additional information about the Kennedy and Mulloy families.
thank you for your assistance.
