I am looking for info on my gg grandfather Bernard Mack born in Dublin 1831, his father was John Mack mother was Mary McDonagh. I think Bernard was still in Dublin at the age of 10, they moved to Scotland, thank you x

Have you already had a look on irishgenealogy.ie for a baptism for Bernard and any sibling or a marriage for John and Mary? I had a look on rootsireland.ie but couldn't see a record so the above site might prove helpful. It's free and easy to use.
As you can see from the link below there were few Mack households in the 19th Century:

By 1901 there are only a few more:
