My great great grandfather was born in Tullow, Carlow.
His name was Patrick Byrne born 5 Feb 1829 son of Jas Byrne born 24 Nov 1769 Patrick Mother was Mary Bryan born 20 Mar 1779 in Tullow she died 16 Dec 1864 in Courtfoy Country Wicklow Ireland.
I believe Patrick Bryne may have married Mary Howes Born about 1832 in Grean, Limerick but not sure.
Patrick travelled to Australia Via Liverpool on teh ship Shalimar in 1862.
If anyone would shed some light on my Irish ancestors I would be greatful

The Tithe Applotments have 51 James Byrnes in Carlow in the 1820's including 7 in places starting with Tullow of which 1 is in Downings.
No luck in the early irish Censuses.
There are no burial records for Carlow on rootsireland.ie/
I couldn't find the marraige record I'm afrraid.
