I have not been able to find any records in Ireland for my grandfather, Owen Healy, who was born in County Sligo between 1865 - 1870. His father was Owen Healy, and I have always believed his mother was Bridget Lynch which is the info on his death certificate. I recently learned that Owen had two brothers, also in Brooklyn, NY (Patrick and John). Patrick's death certificate lists Bridget McCann as the mother.  There are Owen Healy records in Sligo, but not with the right spouse.  My Owen arrived in New York in 18885, married Anna Ford who we believe was from County Roscommon.  Any info would be appreciated. I have no idea of the parish or more location information.

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

I found the baptismal record for Owen under the name Eugene which is a variant name for Owen. The family lived in Lislary townland in Ahamlish civil parish which is the northernmpst parish in Co. Sligo. He was born in 1864. I also located the baptismal record for John.  See transcriptions below from the subscription site Roots Ireland.

This may be Bridget in the 1901 census    http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Sligo/Lissadill_North/…
