My paternal grandmother Annie Maria Levey was previously married to a soldier Robert Quee 1886-1914. Her maiden name was Healy. Her father was John Healy a soldier who was deceased by the the time she married my grandfather Harry Levey in 1915.
According to the 1911 census Annie Maria was born in Bombay, India but I have been unable to find a birth certificate or indeed any record at all for her birth or marriage to Robert Quee ( incidentally I can't find any birth records for Robert Quee either. I'm of the belief that he would be Irish or of Irish descent as well ) even after looking through the British Indian Office Records.
it's my belief that the Healy family came from the Cork area. Unable to find any collaborative evidence though.
If anyone can help me further with my research, then that would be great. Obviously the stumbling block is Annie Maria's birth details.
