Johanna Dorgan and Patrick Lyons

Here is some information that you might find helpful....

The marriage records for Shandrum, Cork are not online; but are held at the Mallow Heritage Center, so you would need to contact them.

There is a Griffith's Valuation record for Patrick Lyons from 1851 in Newton So., Shandrum, Cork. Perhaps he is Patrick's father or grandfather??

The 1901 census shows Patrick, Johanna, and "Minnie" (I think this is a nickname for their first born daughter, Johanna (1874) in Newton Village, Shandrum; and

then a 1911 census record for Patrick, Johanna, and sons Denis and Patrick also in Newtown Village (town). Both census records show that Patrick was a postman.

Finally, there is a Catholic Parish register for a Johanna "Dargan" 20 Oct 1839 born in Shandrum, Cork. Her father was Cornelius and mother was Eliza Williams.

I found an Ancestry tree with Johanna's siblings (correct name of Dorgan after their first names): Bridget 1842, Michael 1844, Cornelius 1847, Mary 1850, and

Thomas 1854.
