I am descended from Robert H Dickson (1855-1925) who emigrated to the US around 1871. His parents James J Dickson (1807-1872) and Elizabeth Sharpe (1825-1901) had seven other children who lived into adulthood. One of those, Walker J Dickson (1847-1929) remained on the family farm, married Maria Jane Cunningham (1858-1928) and had ten(!) children living into adulthood. I believe three of those stayed in Ireland, including Thomas Wm. Dickson (1893-1935) who stayed on the Tawley farm and had 3 daughters (2 of whom may still be living) and a son Walter (1931-2011), a stone mason who had two sons, who may still be in Tawley.

I'll also note that the 1901 census showed four Dickson families in Tawley.

We suspect all are related, but have records for only Walker C. (older) and Walker J. (younger).
