Hi all! Any info on my gg grandparents Michael Byrne/Burns b. 1848 and Eliza Quinn b. 1841 or their families greatly appreciated . I think I have Michaele Quin b.1820 and Catherina Hearn b.1826 as Eliza’s parents but I can’t seem to find anything on Michael, except I think he was born in Glenealy. Thanks in advance, Sheila

    The subscription site Roots Ireland has a June 6 1861 church marriage record for Michael Byrne and Eliza Quinn. The RC parish was Wicklow. Civil registration of RC marriages did not begin until 1864.

    I did not locate a baptismal record for Eliza Quinn on Roots Ireland using the parents names you provided. What was your source for her parents?

    There are many Michael Byrne baptismal records in Wicklow RC parish but without his parents names, we can't find the record. By the way there were no 1826 Michael Byrne baptismal records in Wicklow parish.

    There were twenty Byrne records in the Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Glenealy civil parish.

    Have you considered DNA testing?
